Bodegas Barrero

Bodegas Barrero is a family-owned winery rooted in the rich winemaking tradition of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its origins trace back to 1798, when the San Pedro winery was sold by the Marqués de Casa Arizón to the Vicario Iñigo family, prominent merchants trading with the Indies.
In 1986, the Barrero family acquired the historic estate, including the San Pedro and San Miguel wineries and the Las Cañas vineyard. Over the years, they expanded with the addition of La Soledad vineyard in 1994 and La Media Naranja in 2023, now cultivating 120 hectares in prestigious Jerez Superior vineyards.
With over 5,300 barrels aging wines near the Guadalquivir River and the beaches of Sanlúcar, Bodegas Barrero blends tradition and innovation. Its wines reflect a unique identity shaped by place, heritage, and a deep respect for the Manzanilla de Sanlúcar de Barrameda Denomination of Origin.
